It is the global leader in supplying electronic test and measurement products, which include data generators, oscilloscopes and multimeters. In the life sciences and chemical analysis unit, it produces lab equipment. Top customers include Cisco, GlaxoSmithKline, Intel, and Samsung. Agilent sold off its semiconductor operations in 2005, and also that year announced a divestiture plan designed to allow it to focus on its measurement products. Sales of its semiconductor and LED divisions brought in nearly $4 billion.
