Founded in 1991, Art Technology Group (ATG) develops Internet applications for Global 1000 corporations. Through its Java-based products, ATG helps companies provide online customer relationship management capabilities and build e-commerce websites. Products include a complete set of tools for developing and managing online sales, promotions, billing, and advertising. The ATG Scenario Personalization tool allows companies to personalize every single interaction according to a user's interests, segment, market, and history. ATG, which had its IPO in July 1999, also provides website design, consulting, and support services. Clients include Best Buy, BMG Direct, GlaxoSmithKline, John Hancock Funds, Procter & Gamble, Viacom, Sony, and Sun Microsystems. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, ATG has additional offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
