Dial Corporation might be best known for its namesake product, Dial soap, but the company also boasts an impressive roster of other well-known personal and home care products. In addition to selling almost one million bars of soap per day, Dial also produces the second-leading clothes detergent brand (Purex), the second-leading brand of air fresheners (Renuzit), and it’s the second-leading canned meat producer (Armour Star). Dial products have been in the American marketplace for more than 130 years. A key to Dial’s success lies in its practice of constantly spinning off new products from its existing lines. For example, within the last few years, Dial has introduced a new men's soap product, a new hand soap, and several household deodorizers.
