Long popular in the United States, it has recently begun branching out to the global market with local versions in Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Israel, Poland, Turkey, and the Middle East. Other publications include ForbesLife, Forbes Asia, American Heritage, and American Legacy. The company also publishes magazines that are specific to individual clients’ needs and runs conferences covering various business topics, and it has a news website, Forbes.com. Steve Forbes, president and CEO, is the grandson of journalist B. C. Forbes, who began publishing Forbes in 1917. Forbes Inc. has numerous offices throughout North America, as well as in Hong Kong, London, and Tokyo.
