Hershey

Company Overview

The Hershey Company operates a theme park, HersheyPark, and Chocolate World, a Hershey’s museum of sorts, in its hometown. Hershey has retail stores in Chicago; New York City; Oakdale, California; and Smiths Falls, Ontario. To the hardened chocoholic, the Hershey Company (formerly known as the Hershey Chocolate Company) is man’s best friend. Founded in 1894, Hershey is the leading candy maker in America and the number-one U.S. producer of chocolates and chocolate-related grocery products. The company's popular chocolate products include Hershey's bars and Kisses, Reese's candies, Almond Joy, and Milk Duds. The company has also been branching out into the hard candy market with such brands as Good & Plenty and Jolly Rancher. It also offers various grocery products, such as chocolate syrup and peanut butter.  Hershey introduced a new premium chocolate brand, Bliss, in 2008.
