I work in a company that has casual dress. How do I dress for interviews without tipping my current employer off?
Start wearing suits to work every so often so that it looks like you already dress that way. Keep the jacket hanging nearby so that you are just in shirt and pants or a blouse and skirt (ladies, only), not necessarily a full suit. This way, you can grab the jacket and go when interviewing time arrives.
If you aren’t comfortable with that, have a friend on another floor or in a nearby building hold onto your jacket (or suit, for that matter) and leave time to pick it up, change if necessary, and be on your way.
