Decisions, Decisions
What advice can you offer to a senior who has no idea what they want to do?
Answer
Here are the top five things you should do:
1) Take an assessment test like Myers-Briggs or MAPP (personality tests) or Strong (skills assessment) and you can get some ideas of what you would be good at.
2) Speak to your career counselor at school and ask for their guidance and ideas.
3) Consider the classes you took in the past several years. Which ones did you excel at and enjoy the most? That can give you a clue.
4) Read profiles or biographies of people in various jobs to get ideas.
5) Scan general business publications to see what sectors interest you.
