What do you do when you are asked a question in an interview and you don’t know the answer?
This is bound to happen some time in your career. If you can attempt to figure out the question, give it a try. If you feel you are floundering, ask the recruiter whether you are in the right ballpark. If you are at a total loss, just state that you are, but that you will look it up later that day to ensure you know the answer. It’s not a good thing to experience, but keep your cool and concentrate on the questions that follow. Hopefully, you’ll hit a home run with them.
